Aha, back to the blog for the first time in 2005. I had an excellent Christmas. It was spent at home with family and friends. Highlights included storytelling at Martha and Alfie's playgroup. I gave amongst others, my own rendition of Cinderella. The two year olds seemed pleased. The parents enjoyed the scatalogical spice I'd added. I can see myself expanding this activity to full panto production. Martha and I attended a great kids show at our local theatre on Christmas Eve, "Upstairs in the Sky". At least Martha didn't insist on leaving early as she had done for "Pinocchio" the previous month. Geppeto was freaking her out. I've seen Ipswich beat Stoke and Coventry, lose to West Ham and Bolton. Gave and got good gifts. Particularly pleased with The Ultimate History of Video Games the obsessive reading of which became the spinal column of the holiday season. Now it's nearly the end of January, I'm starting to feel a bit more motivated. Nothing like the gym rowing machine for developing world-conquering aggression.
